A shift that is ready to be executed in the company.
A shift that saved in draft. It is not ready yet to be carried on.



2) When would the shift implement?


Scenario:

Company Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm


You have created a published shift called "Team A Schedule: 1st Week of July".

Start & End Date: 2 July - 5 July

Schedule Time: 10.00am - 7.00pm


You have created an unpublished shift called "Team B Schedule: 1st Week of July".

Start & End Date: 2 July - 5 July

Schedule Time: 2.00pm - 11.00pm


Published ShiftUnpublished Shift
-Started from 2 July to 5 July, the employees in Team A have to work based on the shift assigned. Their working hours are 10.00am to 7.00pm.

-Their attendance daily summary/report is based on the shift scheduled.
-Since it is a draft and not an official shift, so the Team B employees have to work from 8.30am to 5.30pm. They have to follow the company's working hours set.


-Their attendance daily summary/report is based on the company's working hours.




3) How to differentiate the "Published Shift" and "Unpublished Shift"?


From admin/HR's view

A small alert icon would show on top of the unpublished shift. You can filter the shift based on the status.


From normal employee's view

Only the published shifts would appear on the shift calendar.
